About Me
Anthony Preucil has been playing the violin since he was three years old, and began playing the viola at age twelve. Anthony's professional appearances have included Midsummer's Music Festival in Door County, Wisconsin, the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra and the Altoona Symphony Orchestra.
Anthony studied Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Penn State University while also pursuing a minor in music performance. While in college, Anthony was a member of the Penn State Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras and performed chamber music with the Gallitzin String Quartet.
Currently, Anthony serves as assistant concertmaster with the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, and is a founding member of the Sonic String Ensemble. He teaches violin and viola at Mischief Studios in Pennington New Jersey.
His hobbies include astronomy, juggling, and hiking.
