I offer private violin and viola lessons for students of all ages and skill levels in central New Jersey. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for your next concerto competition, or just looking to improve, I provide personalized one-on-one instruction in a supportive environment at Mischief Studios in Pennington, NJ.

Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's skill level, needs, and goals, but common topics include:

• 1, 2, or 3 octave scales + arpeggios
• Notereading, rhythm, and study books/etudes. See Books page for common assignments.
• Repertoire: classical pieces, modern/pop songs, other solo works, duets and chamber music
• Improvisation and development of creativity

Below are some typical events held throughout the year for students:

• Annual Studio Recital (Usually late February or early March). Each student performs a solo work and a duet. The recital culminates in a group performance.
• Practice Quest: Summer Practice game with prizes to encourage consistent practicing
• Practice Quest - Holiday! Practice game during the holidays with a spinner wheel and point system, which can be turned in for prizes.
• Annual Studio Party (pizza/ice cream party in the late summer or early fall)

Prices are per lesson. Payments are taken the last week of the month for the following month. Please contact me or the studio to set up a trial lesson!
